Client Terms of Use

Effective: January 1, 2022

Empowered Legal LLC and its affiliates, including ACCESS LEGAL and UNBUNDLED LEGAL HELP (collectively, "Empowered"), provides advertising for attorneys who subscribe to its services by developing and operating websites to attract and connect potential clients with lawyers and law firms that subscribe to its advertising services ("Subscribers"). The AccessLegal.com and UnbundledLegalHelp.com websites ("Websites") are group advertisements for Subscribers and not a lawyer referral service. By accessing, browsing and using the Websites, you agree that you are a user bound by these Terms of Use, which may be updated at any time without notice.

  1. License. Empowered provides you a license to access and use its website for its intended purpose of requesting and connecting with an attorney. Empowered owns its Websites and the underlying technology, and does not grant users any express or implied rights or licenses to use any patents, trademarks, copyrights or other proprietary or intellectual property rights. User agrees not to: (a) use, reproduce, copy, download or sell any of the text or images found on the Websites; (b) use any network monitoring or discovery software to extract information about usage, individual identities or users; (c) use framing techniques to enclose any portion of the Websites; (d) decompile the source code of the site or otherwise use it for any purpose other than its intended purpose; (e) use the website to contact or obtain contact information for purposes of promotions or marketing campaigns; (f) solicit any Subscribers or use any information gleaned from the Websites apart from Empowered.

  2. No Attorney-Client Relationship with Empowered. Empowered does not provide legal advice, form an attorney-client relationship with users, or make any specific legal recommendations. No privileged or confidential information should be exchanged with Empowered, and user acknowledges that user has no expectation of confidentiality or privacy to communications shared with Empowered apart from those provided in the Empowered Privacy Policy. Any attorney-client relationship resulting from its services are formed directly between the user and the attorney engaged by user after Empowered has introduced the user and Subscriber. User agrees that the selection of, and decision to hire, a particular attorney is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements, and user will not solely predicate this decision upon a connection made by Empowered. User agrees not to provide Empowered any confidential or privileged information, and should only disclose such information to the user's attorney when attorney-client privilege applies.

  3. No Warranty. No representation or judgment has been made as to the qualifications, expertise or credentials of any participating attorney, nor does Empowered analyze a person's legal situation when determining which participating lawyers receive a person's inquiry. The sole basis for the inclusion of Subscribers is the payment of a subscription fee. User should ensure that the Subscriber introduced to the user is suitable prior to entering into an attorney-client relationship, and not solely rely on the introduction made by Empowered. Empowered does not endorse, approve or select its Subscribers; warrant the result, quality, qualifications, professionalism or workmanship of its Subscribers; or guarantee any success or particular result. Empowered is not responsible for damages of any kind, including consequential damages, that may result from use of its website. Subscriber has requested targeted advertising for potential clients in a particular practice and geographic area, but may not be board certified in the particular practice area. EMPOWERED PROVIDES ITS WEBSITES AND SERVICES "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUALITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OMISSIONS, COMPLETENESS, CURRENTNESS, OR ANY WARRANTY OF UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, COMPLETE, ERROR-FREE OR DELAY-FREE ACCESS.

  4. Indemnification. User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Empowered and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, licensors and suppliers harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms.

  5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada. User agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nevada courts and to waive all defenses or objections to such jurisdiction and venue.
